your book " Liquidation 101"
I just got your book " Liquidation 101" and I'm very impressed with it. I've been connected with a liquidation business for about two years now, mostly working in the warehouse doing repair. Your book answered a lot of questions about the business I had. It also help me to make up my mind in the near future to go in business for myself. On the loads you get, do you get any tool loads from "Sears" or any general merchandise loads from "Pier 1" and "Target"?

I talked to you today over the phone. I really appreciate that you took the time to tell me a few things about the business when I didn't really know much about it. There are people who already know what they are doing, and people who haven't got a clue where to begin or who to trust. People do not want to part with their money in this time of economic crisis, but people like you make others feel more comfortable about taking the chance. I have been searching the net for months now, and now I don't feel like I am throwing a dart at a board to make a choice on who to gamble with. We would like to thank you and AML for the effort given to provide our company with quality products. Our last purchase was populated with items we did not think fit into the category of "Women's Handbags and Accessories". We were very troubled by this and felt that the extra items were going to end up eating our profit margin on the other goods. The exceptional quality of the entire lot, including the non women's accessories, has proved to offset our apprehensions. Similar goods are listed on eBay and are sold in open air markets around the area at prices that will provide a substantial profit if we only get half what others are getting. I am the type of business owner that has no qualms with letting you know if I feel I have been dealt a poor hand and find it absolutely essential to also let you know if I have been treated well. The quality of the goods purchased and the effort that has been shown to make the deals smooth and timely has guaranteed that we will be a customer of AML in the future. Respectfully, Bill

Sorry I didn't email you sooner. We've been busy, we had to make extra shelves. We had a problem this weekend, we couldn't keep the shelves stocked enough, good problem! We are so excited about this, it's great!! Thank you for inviting us to the warehouse. I've been looking for a year for a good company. Some of the other closeout companies I've spoke with are not willing to help, no one has ever invited us check them out before! I have been purchasing lots of clothing from American Liquidators for the past two years. Each time has been a pleasant experience for me. I am never in a position to invest a lot of cash at one time and love the fact that I am able to buy in smaller lots. To the management of American Merchandise Liquidators:
I want to write and tell you how much I appreciate what Lynn has done for me and my business. In December of 2001 my wife and I decided that we would start a liquidation business. Needless to say we did not have a clue what we were getting into, so we obtained a copy of the Closeout Magazine and started making phone calls. After making phone calls and sending out emails for almost a week, I finally reached a friendly and understanding voice at AML. Lynn took the time to explain to me about the liquidation business and what the terms meant when talking about ordering items. Lynn was understanding and patient with me, and that meant a lot to me. I told myself that it was just the sales person talking but I soon learned that I was very wrong. After talking with Lynn on several occasions and even driving to Foley to meet her. I realize that she is a good and honest person first and that in turn makes her a very good sales person. Lynn could have just dumped merchandise on us at the beginning and not worried about us coming back. Yes believe it or not, there are some liquidators that think that way. Lynn was and continues to be very concerned about what we received and wanted to make sure that we were happy with our product. That mentality will keep me coming back to her and AML.
